Description
Quick Change 6″ sectional flight screw X 9′ 10″ long is a right-hand configuration conveyor screw manufactured from high-quality steel. Each flight is individually blanked from a steel place and formed into a helix, then butt welded together to form a complete screw section. The specially designed Quick Change conveyer screws use a design that allows for conveyor screws to be completely changed out or for making screw repairs without the daunting task of dismantling the entire conveyor. Sectional flights are formed with a lead longer than their pitch to assure a tight gripping action along the pipe. The flights are then normally fastened to the pipe with the use of intermittent welds and welded steel end lugs. They can be continuously welded on either one or both sides upon request. The 6CS307 conveyor screw pipe will also feature seamless internal locking collars in each end that will accommodate the shafts.
