Description
147-0897 3-7/16″ screw conveyor coupling shaft is manufactured for high-torque applications and made from a select-grade of cold-rolled steel that is precision machined. What separates the high-torque coupling shaft from others is the placement of three coupling bolts instead of two; these shafts are jig-drilled to exactly match the conveyor pipe. Standard cold rolled 3-7/16″ coupling shafts are recommended for any non-abrasive material screw conveyor applications. For abrasive application, we recommend upgrading to a hardened steel coupling shaft.
